Playfina lottery in four steps

The Playfina lottery runs on deposits. Every qualifying deposit adds tickets to the current draw, and draws in recent months came every two weeks. The pool on the page in October was A$6,050 + 20,000 free spins.

The page has a BUY A TICKET button, but the tickets themselves come from deposit bands, not from a separate purchase. If you deposit for the first time, the welcome offer on the Playfina casino bonus page applies to the same payment.

The Playfina lottery is also open on the phone, under the Gamifications button. Keep the size in view from the start. The best single prize is A$30 and the most common cash prize is A$8, so the lottery adds a little to a deposit you planned and nothing more.

Deposit→Get tickets→Wait for the draw→Collect

  • Log in and open the lottery under Gamifications or Promotions.
  • Deposit at least A$30. The amount sets how many tickets you get.
  • Wait for the draw. A countdown on the lottery page shows the time left.
  • Check the winners list after the draw. Prizes go to the account.

Playfina ticket bands from A$30 to A$1,540

Tickets get cheaper per unit as the deposit grows, from A$30 down to A$15. The six cards show the bands: 1 ticket from A$30, 3 from A$75, 7 from A$155, 15 from A$310, 40 from A$770 and 100 from A$1,540.

The jump from A$74 to A$75 triples the count. Above that, each band roughly doubles. None of it is a reason to deposit more than you planned.

A fairer way to compare the bands is tickets per A$100 deposited, measured at the bottom of each band:

Deposit at the band floorTicketsTickets per A$100
A$3013.3
A$7534.0
A$15574.5
A$310154.8
A$770405.2
A$1,5401006.5

Seen this way the discount is modest. The biggest band gives about twice as many tickets per dollar as the smallest. Deposits near the top of a band do worse: A$154 still buys 3 tickets, under 2 per A$100.

Playfina draw dates and the countdown

Every two weeks, judging by the previous draws listed on the page: 19 August, 2 September, 16 September, 30 September and 14 October, all Wednesdays.

Playfina does not publish a calendar, so the countdown is the only official signal. If the rhythm holds, the draw after 14 October falls two Wednesdays later.

Which draw a deposit joins depends on when you make it. A deposit just after a draw waits almost two weeks; one on draw day may count straight away or roll over, and the page does not say which. The table sums up the lottery in four lines.

What the dates do tell you: five draws in a row, fourteen days apart, always on a Wednesday. A regular pattern is a decent sign the lottery is a standing feature, not a one-off promotion that may vanish next week.

How do I win the lottery?

The page's How to win section did not show its rules publicly. What is clear from the page: tickets come with deposits, the draw picks 700 winning tickets across six prize levels, and results appear in the winners list with dates.

Playfina lottery prizes and a A$200 gap

Six prize levels, 700 winning tickets per draw. Four levels pay cash: 50 tickets win A$30, 50 win A$25, 100 win A$15 and 200 win A$8. Two pay free spins: 100 tickets win 100 FS and 200 win 50 FS.

Add them up and something does not match. The cash table comes to A$5,850, while the headline says A$6,050, a gap of A$200. The free spins match exactly: 10,000 + 10,000 = 20,000. We report the gap as it stands. Either a prize line is missing from the public table or the headline rounds up.

If you win, this is what kind of prize to expect, by share of the 700 winning tickets:

PrizeWinning ticketsShare of all winners
A$30507.1%
A$25507.1%
A$1510014.3%
100 FS10014.3%
A$820028.6%
50 FS20028.6%

More than half of all winners get either A$8 or 50 spins. Only one winner in seven gets A$25 or more.

The bigger point is size. The best cash prize, A$30, equals the price of a single ticket at the lowest band. Two hundred winners get A$8. The lottery is a small extra on deposits you would make anyway, with no life-changing prize in it.

  • Cash prizes: A$30, A$25, A$15 and A$8, on 400 tickets in total.
  • Free spin prizes: 100 FS and 50 FS, on 300 tickets.
  • Mismatch: cash adds to A$5,850, the headline says A$6,050.

Wagering on Playfina lottery prizes

Playfina does not say on the lottery page. Free spin prizes follow the free spin rules: you activate them in the Bonuses tab, and their winnings are bonus money.

For cash prizes, ask support whether wagering applies before you count them. Playfina's other cash rewards, cashback and rakeback, carry x40. The prize table below shows each level and how many tickets win it.

If an A$8 prize did carry x40, it would need A$320 of bets before it could be withdrawn, which is more than most players would bet to free A$8. That is why the answer from support matters more than the prize itself. Ask before the draw, not after, and keep the reply.

Playfina FAQ

How much is a Playfina lottery ticket?

Between A$30 and A$15, depending on the deposit band. A deposit of A$30–74 prices one ticket at A$30; from A$1,540 each ticket costs A$15. In between sit A$25, A$22, A$21 and A$19, for 3, 7, 15 and 40 tickets.

How many people win the Playfina lottery?

700 tickets per draw: 400 win cash and 300 win free spins. Playfina does not show how many tickets enter, so the chance per ticket is unknown. One player with many tickets may hold several of the 700, since the page states no limit per person.

Are lottery tickets free?

No. They come with deposits of A$30 or more, and the band decides the count. No ticket is issued without a deposit, and the page lists no free entry route. Below A$30 a deposit brings no ticket at all. Tickets follow the deposit band, not a code, so the same A$30 first deposit can also carry the welcome bonus if you select it.

Where do I see the Playfina lottery winners?

On the lottery page, under Winners of previous lottery, with the draw dates. Names are masked and prizes are listed next to each. The rows we saw showed prizes in EUR, so the list mixes currencies and does not match the A$ prize table line by line.

Should I deposit more to get extra tickets?

No. The best prize is A$30, and the lottery pays no jackpot. Deposit what you planned and treat any tickets as a bonus. The per-ticket discount at higher bands is about twice the smallest band at best, as the table above shows.
