Playfina Wheel of Fortune at a glance
The Playfina Wheel of Fortune has twelve sectors and a progress bar. Fill the bar with A$5,250 of bets on slots and you get one spin, which Playfina says always lands on a prize.
Ten sectors pay cash, from A$15 to A$15,990. Two pay free spins, 100 or 200. The bar below the wheel shows how far you are. The wheel sits under Gamifications, together with the lottery explained on the Playfina lottery page.
The cash sectors climb in uneven steps: A$15, A$30, A$75, A$155, A$380, A$770, A$1,540, A$3,145, A$7,990 and A$15,990. Several of them match the coin shop's cash packs and the lootbox caps, so the same amounts turn up across Playfina's loyalty features. A$15,990 is also the Diamond cashback cap, A$7,990 the top of the Silver chest, A$3,145 the top of the Bronze one.
Before the details, the verdict. The Playfina wheel of fortune is a bonus for people who already bet a lot on pokies. It is not a reason to bet more, and its odds are not published, so nobody can tell you what a spin is worth on average.
Playfina wheel spins come from bets
Through bets, not deposits. The wheel page puts it in three lines: play any slots, reach the required total bet, spin the wheel. The target shown in October was 5,250 AUD.
The chests below are the deposit-based alternative. They use the code LOOTBOX, and the deposit size chooses the chest. Both tools sit under Gamifications in the mobile bottom bar.
How long the bar takes depends only on stake and pace. The number of spins is fixed by the stake:
| Stake per spin | Spins to fill A$5,250 |
|---|---|
| A$0.20 | 26,250 |
| A$0.50 | 10,500 |
| A$1 | 5,250 |
| A$2 | 2,625 |
| A$8, the cap with a bonus | 657 |
At A$0.50 a spin and about 600 spins an hour, A$5,250 of bets takes roughly 17 to 18 hours of play. At A$2 a spin it takes about 4 and a half hours, and the money at risk along the way is the same.
Two things the page leaves open. It does not say whether the bar resets after a period, and it does not say whether bets placed with bonus money count. With a bonus active, every one of those spins is also capped at A$8, so the bottom row of the table is the fastest legal route, at 657 spins.
Promo code LOOTBOX, 12 prizes in each chest, as listed, October 2026.
Playfina coins, quests and the shop
Seven features share the Gamifications menu, and they reward different behaviour.
Achievements are one-off milestones: a x10 win, 500 spins, 50 wins, a first shop purchase. Each pays coins, from 1 to 10. Quests are weekly. Ten of them, each asking for 150 spins at A$1.2 or more on a named pokie, pay 3 coins apiece, and finishing all ten adds 50.
Coins go to the shop. 200 coins buy A$15 in cash, 1,000 buy A$155, 7,600 buy A$1,540, and some packs swap coins for free spins on named pokies such as Elvis Frog TRUEWAYS, Book of Cats or Wild Cash X9990. Coins also come from betting, at 1 coin per A$890.
That last number puts the shop in proportion. A$15 bought with betting coins alone would take A$178,000 of turnover. Quests are the realistic route: a full week of ten quests means A$1,800 of turnover at minimum for 80 coins, still short of the first A$15 pack. Treat all of it as a small rebate, not an income.
- Achievements: one-time goals paying 1 to 10 coins each.
- Quests: 10 per week, 3 coins each, 50 extra for completing all.
- Shop: 200 coins for A$15 cash, up to 7,600 coins for A$1,540.
Playfina wheel or lootbox: bets or deposit
The wheel asks for turnover, the lootbox for a deposit. A$5,250 in bets earns one wheel spin. A$45 with code LOOTBOX earns a Bronze chest, A$75 a Silver one, A$230 a Golden one.
The top prizes line up: A$15,990 on the wheel, A$15,990 in the Golden chest. Neither shows odds. The lootbox counts as a deposit bonus, so it may take the place of a welcome bonus on that deposit.
The three deposit-or-bet features against each other:
| Feature | Entry | Top prize | Prizes in play |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wheel of Fortune | A$5,250 of slot bets | A$15,990 | 12 sectors |
| Bronze Chest | A$45–74 deposit, code LOOTBOX | A$3,145 | 12 per chest |
| Golden Chest | A$230+ deposit, code LOOTBOX | A$15,990 | 12 per chest |
| Lottery | A$30 deposit for 1 ticket | A$30 | 700 winning tickets |
Read the entry column first. A player with A$45 to deposit can open a chest this week; the same player would need months of play to fill the wheel bar once.
The lootbox has its own fine print. Each chest holds 12 prizes, and the lootbox FAQ asks whether rewards carry wagering, how often you can claim and whether there is a time limit, without public answers. Because the bonus terms allow one active bonus at a time, decide before the deposit whether that payment goes to a chest or to the welcome package.
Which prizes are on offer?
The twelve sectors as shown in October: A$15, A$30, A$75, A$155, A$380, A$770, A$1,540, A$3,145, A$7,990 and A$15,990 in cash, plus 100 FS and 200 FS. Playfina does not publish the chance of each one, or the stake of the free spins in the two spin sectors. Wagering on wheel prizes is not stated on the wheel page either.
Playfina FAQ
Which games fill the Playfina wheel bar?
The wheel page says any slots. It does not mention live games or table games, so count only pokie bets towards the A$5,250 bar. Bonus buys are bets too, but with a bonus active they must stay within the A$8 cap. Live Casino games such as Baccarat, Roulette or Show Games are not mentioned on the wheel page, so do not count them.
What is the biggest Playfina wheel prize?
A$15,990, one sector of twelve. Playfina gives no probability for it, and equal slices on screen do not mean equal odds. It is the same figure as the top prize of the Golden lootbox chest, which needs a deposit of A$230 or more with code LOOTBOX instead of A$5,250 of bets.
How often can I spin the Playfina wheel?
Each time the bar reaches A$5,250 of bets. Playfina does not publish a daily or weekly limit, or say what happens to progress when a spin is already waiting. The wheel FAQ lists that exact question without an answer, so use a waiting spin before you build the next bar.
Is the Playfina wheel worth it?
Only as a side effect. Nobody should bet A$5,250 to earn a spin. If you would play that much anyway, a guaranteed prize of at least A$15 is a small extra, worth less than 1% rakeback. On Bronze, the same A$5,250 of bets pays A$52.50 in rakeback.
Is the LOOTBOX code for the wheel?
No. LOOTBOX belongs to the deposit chests, entered with a deposit of A$45 or more. The wheel needs no code at all, only bets on slots until the progress bar is full. A code sold elsewhere as a free Playfina wheel spin is not on the official site.
